Keeping Memories Alive Program
NC A&T STATE UNIVERSITY’S CENTER FOR OUTREACH IN ALZHEIMER’S, AGING, AND COMMUNITY HEALTH
The North Carolina A&T State University Center for Outreach in Alzheimer’s, Aging, and Community Health (COAACH) is a community resource that advances healthy aging. COAACH seeks to ensure that communities have the capacity to provide individuals with the resources they need to live their best lives and age with good health, dignity, and independence. The mission of COAACH is to improve the health and well-being of communities by providing education, community empowerment and evidence-based research so that individuals, particularly the most vulnerable, can live life with quality, dignity, and independence. TEQuity developed the Keeping Memories Alive Listening Party program for COAACH. KMAP supports community individuals with an interest to host awareness sessions on Alzheimer’s disease. TEQuity created program materials including a host planning guide, website, invitation templates, flier templates, social media images, scripts, and thank you cards.
